Areas of Expertise

Painting, Drawing, Mixed-Media, Public Art, Zines, Modern & Contemporary Art History, Mexican American Art, Feminist & Social Justice Art, Critical Response Process, Curatorial Activism, Grant Writing.

Teaching Philosophy

I instruct through technical forms of studio art, career preparation, and by encouraging students to formulate opinions around art history, theory, and their own creative visions.

Outside Interests

I am a visual artist, muralist, curator, self-publisher, and organizer active in our greater San Antonio community.
